The year is 1851, and a young man travels the frontier trails searching for his family. Look closely, however, and you might realize this young man is actually twenty-one-year-old Josephine “Jo†Brown, daughter of a Pennsylvanian minister. As she continues her search, it becomes apparent that an avaricious land baron has something to do with her family’s disappearance. Jo’s also strongly attracted to the local sheriff, but can’t make her feelings known—at least not while she’s wearing a minister’s suit. Josephine’s Journey introduces readers to Jo, a self-reliant, determined woman with an unshakable belief in God’s ability to help her overcome the impossible.
